Mr. Adam Aronson: Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Aronson founded Arrowsight Inc., and its predecessor company, ParentWatch Inc.,
in 1998. He is the former Managing Director and founder of two hedge funds that
he managed in the 1990’s. Earlier in his career he worked at Credit Suisse First
Boston as foreign currency trader. Mr. Aronson received a Bachelor of Arts in
History and Economics from the University of Vermont.
Mr. Lambert Wixson, Ph.D.: Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Wixson is chief architect responsible for Arrowsight's technology
development. He joined Arrowsight in May 2000. From 1993 to 2000 he was a
project leader of video initiatives at the Sarnoff Corporation, formerly RCA
Laboratories (the birthplace of color TV and HDTV). Mr. Wixson owns multiple
video-related patents and has authored several video-related white papers. He
received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Rochester and a BS
from Carnegie Mellon University.
Mr. Mark W. Moshier: President, Manufacturing
Mr. Moshier is the President of Arrowsight's Manufacturing Division. Mr.
Moshier joined Arrowsight in 2005. In addition to his duties at Arrowsight,
Mr. Moshier is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Meat Institute
and serves on their Animal Welfare committee. He is also on the Board of the
National Meat Association where he serves on the Food Safety and Beef committees.
Mr. Moshier has 18 years of experience
within the food and beverage industry, serving in senior level positions at
industry leaders such as Tyson Foods, PepsiCo and Ralston Purina. From 2000 to
2005 he served as Vice President of Operations at Keystone Foods Poultry where
he was responsible for manufacturing, procurement, operations, security,
process design, and food safety compliance. He also managed the fish
manufacturing business where he was responsible for large scale procurement.
From 1996 to 2000, he was President and CEO of Technicraft International, a
private consulting firm specializing in plant operations, production, design
and supply chain optimization. Mr. Moshier also holds five design patents for
equipment and processes in Food Manufacturing. He received a B.S.M.E. from
Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Engineering Science from David Lipscomb
University.
Mr. William T. Brindley:
Vice President Operations; Global Manufacturing & Network Operation Centers
Mr. Brindley joined Arrowsight in 2010 as Vice President of Operations.
Mr. Brindley has a 26 year background in the Automobile electronics industry
having led in many management roles with Chrysler, Siemens and Continental.
He has a broad background in Industrial Engineering, Purchasing, Lean
Manufacturing, Production and Preventative Maintenance Management, and Project
Management. He is a Certified ASQ Quality Auditor, Toyota Lean Production
System Specialist, and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Mr. Brindley is a
graduate of Western Michigan University 1984 where he received a Bachelor of
Science in Manufacturing. Mr. Brindley has significant operations experience
regarding process optimization, technology innovations, production theory,
facility maintenance, production planning, supply chain logistics, employee
safety programs and environmental systems.
Ms. Jean Zimmerman: Executive Vice President, Operations and
Legal
Ms. Zimmerman oversees Arrowsight's operations and legal matters. She joined
Arrowsight in January 2001. From 1984 to 1999 she administered legal,
regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance matters for IBJ Whitehall
Financial Group. Prior to that, she served as senior associate at Sage Gray
Todd & Sims, a Wall Street law firm representing major financial service
clients. Ms. Zimmerman received a JD from Emory University School of Law and a
BS in Finance and a BA in Marketing from the University of Maryland.
Ms. Barbara J. Carbaugh: Vice President, Food Applications
and Customer Service Ms. Carbaugh joined Arrowsight in 2006 after a 29 year
career in the food industry specializing in meat and poultry. Her areas of
expertise include product development, quality assurance, process design and
improvement, animal welfare, and supply chain management. From 1996 to 2006,
she consulted for Keystone Foods with emphasis in process design and improvement,
training at all levels of the organization for new processing technologies, and
analytics and data gathering for process improvement and supply chain management.
From 1989 to 1996, she was Director of Research and Development for Murry’s Inc,
a further processor of beef, pork, and poultry. In addition to product development,
she was responsible for compliance to USDA and FDA regulations, new technology
implementation, and the Continuous Improvement Program. From 1977 to 1989, she
was project manager at Weaver and Holly Farms. Ms. Carbaugh holds a B.S. in Animal
Science and a M.S. in Food Science from Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Peter Stern: Senior Vice President, Strategic Accounts
Mr. Stern joined the Arrowsight Team in 2008. He is the former
Executive Vice President of Laundry Capital, LLC, where he was instrumental
in executing an aggressive growth strategy of the nation's largest and most
successful chain of branded self-service Laundromats. Mr. Stern's
responsibilities included major acquisitions, brand development, executive
recruitment, franchise filing, operational design, strategic planning and
procurement of capital. Prior to Mr. Stern's tenure with Clean Rite Centers,
he served as Vice President of Business Development for International Specialty
Chemicals, where he was responsible for acquiring and implementing the industry's
first e-based, reverse auction bidding system. At ISC, Mr. Stern successfully
negotiated a joint venture agreement with a prominent Swiss based manufacturer
and he was responsible for establishing exclusive agency relationships with
prominent overseas manufacturers. Prior to ISC, Mr. Stern served as a management
consultant in the Dispute Analysis & Investigations Unit of world's largest public
accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Jeffrey S. George: Senior Vice President,
Installation & Technical Support
Mr. George joined Arrowsight in 2005 after a 21 year career in the Electronic
Security industry specializing in System Design, support, and Installation. His areas of
expertise include product development, quality assurance, customer service, help desk
management, and installation project management. From 1996 to 2004, he worked for Westec
Interactive Security as Customer Service Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and
Operations Manager. From 1984 to 1996, he worked for SecurityLink from Ameritech –
National Accounts Group responsible for Technical Support Services, Customer support,
and Product Engineering. Mr. George holds a B.S. in Electronic Engineering from DeVry
Institute of Technology, along with NBFA Level 1 and Level II certification.
Mr. John L. Varnau:
Vice President, Installation & Technical Support
Mr. Varnau joined Arrowsight in 2010 as Vice President, Installation &
Technical Support with 30 plus years of experience as a senior manager of companies
that range in size from start up to $100 million in revenues. Mr. Varnau was
previously an executive with Arrowsight and was instrumental in the initial application
push into the animal welfare and food processing as well as working with ADT to utilize
Arrowsight’s software for performing remote guard tours. Mr. Varnau was VP of Operation
for Westec Interactive from 1996 to 2003 where he was responsible for taking video
interactive security concept to reality and become the foremost provider of video
security services for retail. Mr. Varnau has developed partnership relationships with
major companies including IBM Germany, Austria and Israel, Honeywell
(formerly Allied Signal), ABB Gurtz and Bell Atlantic that included development and
joint marketing. Mr. Varnau has earned a BSIM degree from Purdue University.
Mr. Joe LeGrand: Regional Sales Director
Mr. LeGrand is a Regional Sales Director of Arrowsight’s Manufacturing
Division. Mr. LeGrand joined Arrowsight in 2006. Mr. LeGrand has 12 years of
experience within the food and beverage industry and 8 years of additional
experience in manufacturing and consulting, serving in management level positions
at industry leaders such as Tyson Foods, Gates Rubber Company, Baldor Electric,
and Meyn Food Equipment. His positions have included Director of Engineering,
Technical Director – North America, Engineering & Systems Manager, and Regional
Sales Manager. His experiences have included research and development, system
design and development, product design, and operations support. He has also
consulted domestically and internationally in equipment and process design and
development. Mr. LeGrand received his B.S. in Engineering from John Brown
University
Mr. Ira Sobotko: Finance Consultant and Director
Mr. Sobotko has served as a director of Arrowsight since 2001. Mr. Sobotko
is currently Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of National Patent
Development Corporation. Mr. Sobotko also serves as Senior Vice President,
Finance, Secretary and Treasurer of Five Star Products, National Patent's
principle operating subsidiary. Prior to his current roles, Mr. Sobotko served
as a financial consultant to various publicly-traded companies, including
National Patent, Five Star Products and other emerging technologies companies. He
also served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Campusfood.com,
a web-based network of restaurants for students and local communities, and
as Executive Vice President, Finance at Arrowsight.
Mr. Christopher Birck: Chairman
Mr. Birck has been a Director of Arrowsight since May 2000. He was appointed
Chairman in September 2003. Since May 1999, Mr. Birck has served as managing
general partner of Oak Street Investments, L.P., a Connecticut-based venture
firm. He also serves as President of his own real estate investment group,
Birck Investments, Inc. A member of the founding family of Tellabs (NASDAQ:
TLAB), an electronic communications hardware company, Mr. Birck was the
Director of Treasury of that company from December 1988 to April 1999. He also
serves on the board of directors of several companies, including Celtic
Investment Corp., opexchange and Power-Clip Co. (formerly DoubleTime Corp.).
Mr. Birck received an MBA in Finance from DePaul University and a BS from
Benedictine University.
Mr. Glen Morrison, CFA: Finance Consultant
Mr. Morrison has served as Finance Consultant to Arrowsight since 2003. In addition
to his work his Arrowsight, Mr. Morrison is a Principal with Inverlochy Capital.
Mr. Morrison has built a successful career in the financial centers of Canada and
the United States as a Financial Analyst and a Fixed Income Trader. He progressed
rapidly through positions with Salomon Brothers, Inc in New York, First Boston
Canada (Toronto), and Credit Suisse First Boston in New York. In addition to his
work in the financial services industry Mr. Morrison has co-founded and managed
several businesses in the construction, retail and software industries.
A Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr. Morrison earned an Honours degree in
Business Administration from the University Of Western Ontario.
